Lindberg E. Waltman
CORNWALL -- Lindberg E. "Lindy" Waltman, 71, of 165 N. Cornwall Road died Monday at home.
He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. ore mines and as a school bus driver from the Cornwall-Lebanon School District; had been a maintenance worker for the school district; was an Army veteran of World War II; a member of Quentin United Church of Christ; an avid hunter, fisherman and archer; and a life member of the Pennsylvania State Archers Association, Hemlock Field Archers and Cornwall Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are his wife, Grace E. Lineaweaver Waltman; two sons, Kenneth E. of York and Dale of Cornwall; a brother, Elam of Titusville, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
