Doris J. Boyer, 75, of 1813 Creston Drive, Lebanon, died Thursday, February 2, 2006, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of late Carl Boyer, who died in 1978. She was born in Lebanon on December 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Mary C. Patches Neuman. She was a retired employee of the Lebanon VA Medical Center, where she worked in the canteen for 12 years. She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church of Lebanon. She is survived by children Carl T., husband of Denise Boyer, Lebanon; Carol J. Ream, Palmyra; Sharon L., wife of Keith Deiter, Lebanon; and Harry E. Boyer, Myerstown; grandchildren Jason Ream, Erica Ream, Bradley Ream, Pamela Ream, Justin Deiter and Ashley Boyer; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Harry E. Neuman, Lebanon, Richard Neuman, FL, and Larry Neuman, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sallie J. Neuman, and a brother, Thomas Neuman. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th and Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment in the Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Friends may call Monday 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
