My current guess is this will be the Charles Shaeffer who appears in the 1920 Census in Lancaster County, Manheim, ED 94, Sheet 9A. age given as 36, with wife Mary, age 38, and children Frank (13), Paul (9), Ruth (8), Carl (5), and Ivan (4 3m). This couple can be found in the 1930 Census in Lancaster County, Manheim Borough, ED 87, Sheet 4A (pg 18), as Charles (age 44, which coresponds to the 1910 census), Mary (age 43), Frank (24), Franks wife Stella (22), their son Frank Jr.( 2 7m),Paul (20), Ruth (18), Carl(16), Ivan (15). I haven't found Charles and Mary in the 1910 census, but am still looking.
