MARK ZELLERS, REAL ESTATE AGENT
Mark E. Zellers, 69, a former real estate agent who lived at 204 Robin Road, Hershey, died Saturday morning at his home after a brief illness.
Formerly of Manheim, he was the husband of Gale Witmer Kreamer Zellers. They celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in June. He was also the husband of the late Joan F. Sheetz Zellers, who died Dec. 18, 1991.
Until his illness, Zellers worked as a real estate agent with Brownstone Real Estate Co., Hershey.
Prior to that, he was a real estate agent with Penn Realty, Manheim. He had also been an employee in the grounds maintenance department of the Milton Hershey School, Hershey, for 5 1/2 years.
In addition, he had worked part time at the Manheim Auto Auction.
Zellers was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Derry Township, and was an avid Manheim Central Barons football fan.
Born in Richland, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Harry J. and Tillie Reed Zellers.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Randy D. Zellers, fiance of Lauren Bahr, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one daughter, Kim M., wife of Douglas R. Ulmer, Landisville; two stepsons, Michael, husband of Nadine Kreamer, Phoenixville; and Kreg, husband of Debra Kreamer, Powell, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; four brothers: Allen, husband of Jane Zellers, Shillington; Harry "Pepper" Zellers, Richland; Neal, husband of Fumiko Zellers, East Berlin; and Reed Zellers, Palmyra; and one sister, Arlene, wife of Arthur Troutman, Dover.
Mark married Joan Fay Sheetz, daughter of Morris M Sheetz and Bernetha T Hilton, on 24 Dec 1947 in Richland, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, USA.1 (Joan Fay Sheetz was born on 19 Jan 1929 in Millcreek, Lebanon Co., PA,1 2 3 died on 18 Dec 1991 in Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA 1 2 3 and was buried in Dec 1991 in Fairview Cemetery, Manheim, Lancaster Co., PA. 2 3.)
