Audrey A. Kissinger Kauffman
Audrey A. Kissinger Kauffman, East Petersburg, PA, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on October 21, 2010.
Born in Lancaster, PA on November 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Enck Kissinger.
Audrey is survived by her husband Roy J. "Jim" Kauffman, Jr., her best pal, to whom she was married for 46 years in July and her beloved dog Suzy.
She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jean Geesey, Columbia, Janet (Spencer) Speros, Lancaster, Joan Groff, Lancaster, Robert (Bea) Kauffman, East Petersburg, Ronald (Sara) Kauffman, Holtwood, Judy (Norman) Henry, Drumore, Polly Kauffman, Lancaster.
Audrey graduated from the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. Following graduation she worked as a nurse at Lancaster General Hospital, retiring in 1996.
Audrey enjoyed family dinners, playing cards, watching the Phillies, Barnstormers, going to car cruises and watching NASCAR.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Audrey's Life Celebration Service from Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 W. Orange St., Lancaster, PA, on Monday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Michael Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. Friends may call at Fred F. Groff Inc. on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603-9983.
