Bertha M. Leid, 79, formerly of Denver
Bertha M. Lied, 79, formerly of Denver, died Sunday at 7:20 p.m. at Lancashire Hall, Neffsville, where she had lived since March 1991.
She was the wife of Howard G. Lied, who died in 1976.
Mrs. Lied was employed many years ago by the former Raybestos Inc., now Raymark Friction Co., Manheim.
She was a life member of Ephrata Elks Lodge and a member of the Denver Orioles.
Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Shenk Blessing.
She is survived by a son, Lloyd Kissinger Jr., Ephrata; a stepdaughter, Charlotte, wife of John Marxen, Lancaster; a stepson, Howard S., Ephrata; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Bertha married Lloyd Hilton Kissinger, son of Henry S. Kissinger and Clara Lavina Hilton. (Lloyd Hilton Kissinger was born on 1 Feb 1898 in Talmage, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA, died on 14 Jan 1945 in Talmage, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA and was buried on 17 Jan 1945 in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick Twp, Lancaster Co.
