MRS. CLAYTON HILTON
Mrs. Mary M. Hilton, seventy-seven, Lexington, Lititz R1, died at Lancaster General Hospital Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. after a lingering illness. She had been admitted to the hospital two weeks before her death.
The wife of the last Clayton Hilton, she was born in Kissel Hill, Warwick Twp., to the late Ralph and Seda Demmy Todd and was a resident of Lititz all her life.
She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Weidman, Lititz R1, and Roy T. Hilton, Lititz R2, and a daughter, Luetta, wife of Clarence B. Keller, Lititz..
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a brother John D. Todd, Lititz, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Enck, Lititz.
FUNERAL INVITATIONS
HILTON -- Entered into rest in Lancaster on June 29, 1960, Mrs. Mary M. Hilton, wife of the late Clayton Hilton of Lexington, Lititz R1, in her 78th year. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Spacht Funeral Home. S. Broad and Center Streets, Lititz, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Interment in Penryn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spacht Funeral Home Friday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
Mary married Clayton S. Hilton, son of John M. Hilton and Hettie L. Shelly, on 27 Jul 1907 in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA. (Clayton S. Hilton was born on 8 Feb 1887 in Talmage, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA, died on 16 Jan 1917 in Elizabeth Twp, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was buried on 19 Jan 1917 in Penryn Union Cemetery, Penn Twp, Lancaster Co., PA 2.) The cause of his death was Typhoid pneumonia.
